Knife Skills Class
The new Cooking Season begins with a class in basic techniques.
September 13th kicks off our new session with lessons on basic knife skills. We'll be perfecting our techniques so that you can dice, julienne, chiffonade and mince with efficiency and ease. We'll also master the classic cuts that make prep work a breeze and learn about the proper care and maintenance of knives.
This is a hands-on class and we will be chopping and dicing and working in the kitchen. Then we'll take the fruits of our labor and make homemade pizza! What could be better?
This class is scheduled for Monday, September 13th at 11:00 at the home of Lynn Haywood. The cost is $25 per person.

Plan A wasn't as easy as we thought so we're off to Plan B!
You can help us by submitting and typing your own recipes into the publisher's system for our yet to be named cookbook.
This will take you to a login page - click login
Contributor (you) - type name as you'd like it to appear in the cookbook
Group login - cordilleraranch
Password - ctcjc
This will take you to a WELCOME page. Click on Add Recipe and the fun begins!
1) Type in your name.
2) Type in your recipe name.
3) Choose a category from a convenient drop down menu.
4) Type in your list of ingredients. There is also a helpful guide for abbreviations so we can all be consistent. Please use lower case for the ingredients.
5) Type in your cooking instructions.
6) Check spelling & preview your recipe.
7) If all is ok, then click SAVE at the bottom and you're done!
If you want to keep adding recipes look at the top and find ADD ANOTHER RECIPE. If for some reason after you hit save and you realize that you have made a mistake, you can email us and we can go in and edit.
If the thought of this totally "blows your mind", please let us know and one of our team of trusty recipe typists will come to your rescue!
